Who We Are
CDH Advisors is a Brentwood, TN-based strategic advisory firm working with small and mid-market businesses, founder-led companies, and service organizations across the country. We sit at the intersection of strategy, culture, and operations, helping leadership teams close the gap between where they are and where they want to be.
Our work is built on a simple belief: the best organizations don’t just run well, they mean something. They have systems that create results and a soul that creates belonging. When those two things work together, everything changes.
BIOGRAPHY
Colin Hewett
Colin Hewett is the founder and principal advisor at CDH Advisors. With 15+ years of experience spanning military leadership, Fortune 500 healthcare consulting, and operational leadership inside high-growth startups, Colin has built a career at the intersection of people, strategy, and execution.
A Vanderbilt University graduate (Economics & German, Magna Cum Laude) who was commissioned as an Army Infantry Officer through ROTC, Colin’s foundation was built in some of the most demanding leadership environments imaginable. He served as a Platoon Leader and Company Executive Officer, leading 46 to 200-person units in Iraq, earning the Bronze Star, Ranger tab, and Expert Infantryman Badge. That experience instilled a standard of accountability, calm under pressure, and mission-first leadership that defines how he works with clients today.
After his military service, Colin spent five years as a management consultant at Cumberland Consulting Group, implementing healthcare SaaS solutions for Fortune 500 organizations across 300+ facilities and 52 hospitals in 17 states. He then joined Healthcare Bluebook, a healthcare transparency startup, where he rose to Director of Client Delivery, building and leading client operations teams responsible for $2.5M+ in annual contract value and 100% on-time implementation delivery across 150+ clients. Before founding CDH Advisors, Colin served as Chief Operations Officer at Granite Education, a mindfulness-based ed-tech startup, where he redesigned organizational workflows, improved operational efficiency by 50%, and freed the CEO to focus on growth by managing all business operations.
Colin founded CDH Advisors in June 2023, achieving over 500% growth every six months by delivering Fractional COO, System & Soul™ coaching, and executive advisory services across the legal, real estate, construction, non-profit, and healthcare industries. He is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP), OKR Certified Trainer, EOS Integrator, and System & Soul™ Coach.
